The bathroom window didn't close completely, which was inconvenient during our two-night stay. Despite notifying the front desk, the issue wasn't resolved, leaving us with an uncomfortable situation. The persistent smell from outside made the bathroom experience quite unpleasant, especially with a toddler napping during our time there.

The friendly owner provided great local advice.

Perfect for a quick trip

I had a last-minute need for a place to crash, and wow, this spot seriously delivered! The room was huge and spotless, with a comfy bed and even a strong shower that had eco-friendly stuff which I appreciated.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for the quality, it was still acceptable.

We stayed at Bella Vista Motel Rotorua and loved it! The room was clean and spacious, with a cozy corner that was perfect for relaxing. The hot water and pressure in the shower were excellent, and the location was close to the lakefront and Eat Street, making it easy to explore.

I really appreciated the friendly service and how clean everything was during my stay. It was only a short walk, around 1 km, to Kuirau Park, which was perfect for my city strolls. I also loved that Ohinemutu, a fascinating cultural landmark, was just 700 meters away, making it easy to explore both nature and history without a hassle.

It was just a good match for a getaway in Rotorua with incredible value for money. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, perfect for our short stay. Make sure to check out the nearby Kuirau Park for its cool foot baths.

We had an amazing time exploring Rotorua! The kids loved the adventure activities like jet boating and the Zorb, while my hubby and I found the cultural tour at the living Maori village truly enriching. The one-bedroom unit was clean and spacious for our family.

In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom could use a better ventilation system for the winter smell.

Hospitality was exceptional. I arrived early and was given my room key without any hassle, allowing me to rest as I was unwell. However, the male owner was less accommodating regarding pet policies compared to my previous experience with the female owner, which was disappointing.
